• The Hawks beat The Heat last night at Philips 91-83. That brings their record up to 33-25 and a solid 4th seed if the playoffs started today. Last year they sneaked in at the 8th seed with a record of 37-45. (To put in perspective how bad the Eastern Conference is, the 8th seed in the West last year was the Denver Nuggets with a record of 50-32. This season the current 8th seed is Milwaukee at 28-33, while in the West, the 6-8 seeds all have better winning percentages than the Hawks.)
  

• After watching so many bricks from the free throw line, I'm not surprised to go to NBA.com's stats page to see that the Hawks are the second-worst free throw shooting team in the league.

• I hope Bono and the Edge (or is it The Edge?) are getting paid a lot of money for this.

• L'Obama sitting courtside at the Wizards-Bulls game. No luxury boxes for this guy. Can you imagine if you ended up sitting next to him at a game? I would flip out.
